Welcome to the Berkshire Line

Inspired by still fresh memories seeded more than sixty years ago during a top down ride on a beautiful spring day when I first discovered the New Haven Railroad's Berkshire Line and the hamlets it served paralleling the Housatonic River in Northwestern Connecticut. This journal will follow the construction and operation of a scale railroad model dedicated to that very fond memory.

My hope is that you will find something of interest and enjoy time spent here.
